I can't stand it.

The Ranter
The Views of The Ranter

It is far past the time to do something stronger in Iraq, whatever the situation calls for then it needs to be placed into immediate effect.

CBS News reported that an al Qaeda-linked group posted a Web video Saturday purporting to show the bodies of two American soldiers being dragged behind a truck, then set on fire in apparent retaliation for the rape-slaying of a young Iraqi woman by U.S. troops from the same unit.

It went on to say, The Mujahedeen Shura Council — an umbrella organization of insurgent groups, including al Qaeda in Iraq — posted another video in June showing the soldiers' mutilated bodies, and claiming it killed them.

We are so concerned with individual rights and protecting that right that we tend to forget we are in a war and in any war, the object is to win by any factor. Where was the ACLU or our own constitutional rights for that matter when our soldiers were being murdered, their heads cut off, dragged behind vehicles and their bodies set ablaze? Was the ACLU stomping on the desert sands in an attempt to tell the cowardly, murderous terrorists who put these actions into play, “No-No, you can’t do that, they have rights.”

Was our constitution standing watch over their bodies while they were set ablaze? Was anyone actually giving a damn about those men?

We are so far into our politically correct butts that we no longer have any idea what to do anymore except scream from the top of the roofs over rights violations.

It is time to throw every concern out of the window and allow our military to do what they are trained to do, win a war.
