Iran is on a dark path

The Ranter
The Ranter

I know I have often questioned the sanity of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, but come on, I am a professional, and this guy is nothing but a walking punch line for Jay Leno. Ok, I will give the guy this much, he does look like the Russian comedian Yakov Smirnoff. Oh come on, you all know the guy; “In Russia….The TV watches you”...The proverbial canned laughter track follows.

Yes, I have stated that the famed Charles Darwin, the father of evolution and the brunt of a lot of today’s jokes regarding anything to do with being alive and related to the chimpanzees would have placed his intelligence level somewhere between a dead pigeon and a snake, but I have decided that this fruitcake is beyond nuts, his chocolate chip cookies are missing the chocolate!.His elevator is stuck between floors and he cannot figure out which one is the red button. (Okay, I will stop)

Just a week ago, Ahmadinejad issued a debate challenge to President Bush whose camp in turn said he was out of his mind, never happen, no way Jose. This would have been the debate to end all debates ever televised in the entire history of broadcast or cable television.

We would have the leader of the free world, the President of the United States George W. Bush standing at his podium attempting to bring a solution to the present nuclear chaos facing the United Nations. The other podium would have the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, perhaps the worst offender of human rights since the fall of Iran standing there screaming at the top of his lungs for the combined Arab destruction of the state of Israel while making nuclear threats to President Bush.

After reading that description, we can all safely comprehend the underlying reasoning why Bush’s staff told Ahmadinejad to stick it where the sun does not shine and don’t let the door hit you where Mother Nature spilt you.

Iran is taking the stand that it could care less what the wishes of the rest of the world are and how they may effect their country. The People’s Daily Online ran an article stating:

Earlier on Friday, one day after Tehran disregarded a UN Security Council deadline for it to suspend uranium enrichment, the Iranian president also vowed that his country would never give up its right of exploiting peaceful nuclear energy.”

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad pledged on early Saturday in the northwestern town of Maku that his country would "firmly" defend the goals of its nuclear program in all talks on the issue.”

Therefore, back to my original description of Ahmadinejad, I feel we can safely assume he is not only waking a thin line of sanity, but also walking his country on a slow path to a nuclear confrontation with multi-nuclear powers, which would lead to devastation in which there may be many casualties.

  1. If it was just a matter of Iran, then we could just give Iran a U.S.-sized bitch-slap and then get on with spreadin civil war across the Mid East, one country at a time..

The fact is that the rest of the ME dont want ol Act-Mad to have nukular bombs either, but dont want to look like they support the U.S. in keepin him without em.. Also, the Ruskies and China are gonna make it as hard as possible for us to stop him too, and NKorea is gonna be with Act-Mad all the way to the brink..

Act Mad aint really crazy, but just a very small man tryin to leave a very large shadow.. Whats gonna happin is comparable to the SUV tryin to swerve to miss hittin a dog on the road, and thus runnin off the road and havin one-helluva collision with a tree !! All survive the wreck, but then are bitin by the dog and contract rabies..
