Time will tell

I have always found it to be a sad experience to watch a second term President's popularity and political power fade into nothingness.

This is the case with President Bush, once the proud leader of the free world, standing on the ground of the World Trade Center, pointing to its remains and telling the firemen that soon the people that did this will hear them.

President Bush was the leader of a country involved in a war, not on another nation, a standing army, but a war on terrorism, wherever they may hide; we were going to eradicate them from the earth.

People applauded, young men and women enlisted in the military with the sole desire to take it to the people who did this to our country. Everyone proudly displayed their American flags, outside, affixed to their windows, vehicles and lapel pins, patriotism was high and the country wanted to fight back.

Slowly the politicians began questioning the President's policies and they began to question their support as well. Silently the support began to fade into oblivion until from a political standpoint, there was nothing left, but a lame duck President unable to garner enough votes to back any of his programs.

I personally find this very sad indeed, President Bush has said from the beginning that he did not care about his standing in the popularity polls, or his support in political circles, but when that support really does disappear, reality sets in.

History alone will be the sole judge for the Bush years; it will not judge him by his politics, but his actions and how they affected the country and the world.

One hundred years from now other generations will study the Bush years in school, the war in Iraq, Afghanistan and the secret black-ops war that took place behind the scenes that is now the daily headlines. Perhaps some teacher will lecture how poorly the President's policies were and how badly they affected other countries, or just maybe, they will explain to the students that the freedoms they enjoy and the peace in the world was the result of actions one hundred years ago began by one man, George W. Bush.

Either that or just maybe they will be no one around in which to teach to, only time will tell and be the judge.

G.W. has really taken a lot of flak from people bout supportin the Amnesty Bill, but I look at it a different way..

Takin his popularity into account and the fact that the majority seems to be against anythang he proposes, then the best way to get somethin killed is for him to come out FOR it !! I thank he is usein PSYCHOLOGY on em..

If he had come out AGAINST the Amnesty Bill, then the (D)s would have used their last breath and last dollar to get it PASSED !!

I thank he agreed to support it in trade for the Defense Bill that got approved .. If they approved the money for the Troops, then he would be FOR the Amnesty Bill.. Little did the take into consideration that his support would ultimately be the "wooden stake thru the heart" for the Amnesty Bill..

At least I can only hope thats the way it was..

I also thank that the Media's role in the "torturin" scenario at Abu Graib they presented had a lot to do with the prosecution policies of the Military in Iraq.. If the Media hadnt hyped Abu Graib so much and porteaitin it "rapin, pilagin, and plunderin Iraq" the way they did, then I thank proceedures would have been a lot different and the people put in charge there would also have been different and the situation would have been a LOT different.. In other words, the war was manipulated by the Media !!

If you thank back, at the most crucial times when G.W. needed the support of his sides members of Congress the most, he damn sure didnt get it !!~ Trent Lott was supposed to have been behind the President and help put pressure on Congress to get tough measures passed and when the time came, Lott went all squishy !! Other (R) members of Congress thru their own darts at G.W. too.. The names Tom Delay, Mark Foley and Duke Cunningham come to mind front and foremost.. And then Newt Gingrich was scmoozin up to The Hildebeast durin this time too..

The Minorities did their level best to get into the "Bush Bashin" act too with Katrina and the Bandy Achey tsunami and the marches and protests by the millions of Mescans in the cities across America and sometimes, the World.. And the Media was always there to thro their gas on the fire as well..

Media Manipulation has been present in just about all the situations that could be spun to the disadvantage of President Bush or the War in Iraq..

Permanent damage was done on many scales to many of the Programs and Agendas of the Bush Administration.. From Nancy Pelosi's OFFICIAL trip to Israel and Syria and the Mid-East, to Congressmen standin up in Congress and callin the Troops Nazis and Torturers, to tryin to kill The Patriot Act and takin out what little teeth there was in the counter-terrorism tools used by the Agencies that are supposed to be protectin this country from another attack, to preventin the capture and prosecution of the very terrorists tryin to kill American Troops and citizens..

LBJ didnt even have as much PURE SHIT and LIES thrown at him durin Viet Nam or JFK durin the Cuban Missle Crisis or Bay of Pigs !!

But you can bet your ass that none of that will be taken into account when the History is written of the Presidency of George Bush !! But even if it were shown, you can bet it would be edited out before it ever made it to a school classroom and the PC and Anti-War version pushed on the future leaders of our country..

And you never can tell what President Hilary Clinton will talk Sandy Berger into puttin INTO the National Archives to re-arrange History to what she would like it to be..

Yep, Sandy Berger altered Recorded History and got away with it, but Scooter Libby is gonna get Hard Time for havin a poor memory of events durin a time of great stress.. Not to mention that his OFFENSE occured durin the investigation of a NON_CRIME !!

Ranter, do you REALLY thank that anybody is gonna have the guts to show the History of President Bush in actuality, when they know they will be raked over the coals time and time again if they do ?? Maybe POSTHUMOUSLY, if at all, otherwise they would be forced into the lifestyle of Salman Rushde !!

The media is the true enemy in this country as well as being a downright traitor, look at the NY Times!

The past years have been disgusting, pure and simple.
