New York Times Redux
As the majority of my readers are well aware of by now, the New York Times has hit many a hard rock on the road recently with their publishing secrets of our antiterrorist programs. As one reporter so eloquently put it this morning, the problem is the reporters at the Times hate Bush. I really wish I could recall just who uttered those informative words, but I cannot. It has clearly been demonstrated that contrary to any national security, the Times will do as they wish and they could care who knows it. National security, they could care less, if it is showing the Bush administration in a bad light then they will report it. Never mind the fact that any terrorist who was previously monitored or tracked under the umbrella of that program now is fully aware of the details and now making other arrangements. I for one firmly believe that the New York Times should be charged with activities to undermine our nation in this fiasco. The President recently called the New York Times actions disgraceful, that is putting it mildly, it should be investigated to the fullest capabilities of our legal system and prosecuted if culpable actives are founded. The New York Times were working so hard to be truthful that they basically gave the ship to the pirates, Johnny Depp and his outer ego Jack Sparrow would be proud. They presently have both sides screaming at one another on television and bloggers, such as I writing rants until we are blue in the face, yet nothing has come out of it and you can bet that nothing will. It will all be “he said” and “she said” until the cows come home, either that or watch Star Jones whine and beg.
