200 Missiles hit Israel

The International Herald Tribune is reporting that 200 missiles have hit Israel, launched by the Hezbollah as fierce fighting continues deep within the country. Israel has escalated their engagement with the augmentation of five thousand additional troops. Israeli Prime Minister Olmert has openly stated that Israel will continue its fight until international troops move in effectively establishing s safe buffer zone.

In the meantime, the United Nations, France, Britain and the United States stated they were very near reaching an agreement on the type and specifics of the required forces to control a buffer zone and attempt to put an end to the battle that is currently raging.

It is extremely evident at this particular point in time that Israel is determined and more than willing to put an end to the daily attacks of the Hezbollah. The fate of the captured Israeli soldier held hostage since the inception of the fighting is still unknown.
