More on Soldier's Angels

The Ranter
The Views of The Ranter

It is time to get serious and I can think of no better way than for us to become involved in the wonderful cause, Soldier’s Angels.

I wrote a brief bit about this great charity earlier, since then I have been in contact with Patti from Solder’s Angels and the few other wonder Angels who made comments who are volunteers. I have learned a bit more of their needs and I am hoping some or all of us may be able to help.

If you have not stopped at their site then you need to do so right now and back button to the blog so we can continue.

Here is a quote from their site, just in the event some of you did not have the time to surf over and need to learn a bit more.

Quote from Soldier’s Angels:

Soldiers' Angels currently supports thousands of American Service Members stationed wherever we raise our Country's Flag and the number is growing daily. We also work tirelessly supporting our Wounded Soldiers, with backpacks filled with needed items , personal visits, phone calls, etc. Additionally, we send our thanks via letters and email to the military of Great Britain, Poland and Australia who serve by our soldiers side in Iraq.

Soldiers' Angels are dedicated to ensuring that our military know they are loved and supported during and after their deployment into harm’s way
.

We can make a difference either in donations or in volunteer work. I asked Patti what they needed other than the obvious of funds and this is her reply.

“I have 439 soldiers/marines waiting for adopters,
we sure can use people who can help send cards and letters and care packages,
Thank you again.”
Patti

Please take a moment of your day and stop by Soldier’s Angels to make a donation or to volunteer in this wonderful cause. Our men and women, sons and daughter and brothers and sister are standing on the line for us, we can say thank you so they know their country means it.
