The world is nuts..Where is my shelter.
The people of North Korea should be very afraid; by the way, did you notice I did not say citizens? Nope, they are more like hostages, thus the word, people. Why should they be afraid you may wonder, well North Korea has yet to make a missile capable of not coming straight down into its trajectory, thank God and now they are are going to test a nuclear weapon.
The people must be building shelters as we speak. On the other hand, if North Korea is capable of actually making the missile fly to our shores, well, the proverbial poo-poo is about ready to hit the fan.
I have often said that we are so busy worrying about Iran that no one is watching North Korea, sort of a magic act, watch one hand while the other is doing something else, the old smoke and mirrors.
We worry about Iran, no, we fret and create military scenarios and attack plans. We created Iran, well, not the present administration, they fret, but did not create. That was accomplished a long time ago during the Carter administration. He hated the Shah of Iran, no other reason, just hated the Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlav cut off all aid and indirectly supported a religious leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini in exile who assumed power after the fall of the Shah kicked America out and Carter in the butt.
Of course, we all remember the hostage situation and President Carter refusing to leave the White House until it was solved, great move there Jimmy. Another sad commentary to that fiasco was the total SNAFU in the desert during the attempted rescue. Among other things was the pilots inability to train or communicate together, good move on that one too Jimmy. However, it did lead to today’s Delta force, but at the time the military and politicians blew it big time.
While all of this is going on North Korea is receiving aid from Iran and quietly building their weapons of mass destruction and working on their long-range missiles. Why you may ask is this going on, well class, because Iran and North Korea are working together and sharing their technology. This is making the Japanese, America and just about every other nation in the world very nervous.
The only place this will all lead if it gets out of control s assured mutual destruction. President Clinton thought that he had the problem with North Korea solved and will no doubt take the blame on that one too. However, honestly folks, does anyone think that Clinton wanted to be the President to get us into a nuclear war? I think not. I am a Republican, but I am a realist.
We created our present problems and now it is time to try and undue things or find a quiet spot in Mamabears air raid shelter. Save a spot for the Ranter mamabear.
